1616 Langatun Vodka Black Edition - 70cl
Berner Premium Vodka made from five local grains
This vodka is an exemplary Premium Black Edition. This spirit, which contains five local grains, comes from the successful Langatun distillery in Bern.
Regardless of whether it's gin, whiskey, rum, vodka, brandy or bourbon, the Langatun distillery has them all. The modern distillation plant in Kornaus, which was built in Langenthal in 1616, is accordingly in full swing. Langatun is one of the numerous domestic companies that have been writing a completely new success story since the turn of the millennium.
With the 1616 Premium Black Edition, Hans Baumberger and his team prove once again how versatile their still is and how much they really know about distilling. The goal was to produce a mild, pure and almost tasteless grain brandy that can be used universally.
The 1616 line was launched in 2016. That was exactly four centuries after the granary was built. Even the alcohol content of 49.12 percent is no coincidence, because it's about the zip code.
Whether pure as a shot, in a more complex cocktail or as the basis for a long drink, the sevenfold distilled vodka offers the desired quality.
