First brown rum "Made in Switzerland".
For the first rum “Made in Switzerland”, the manufacturers of Banqero Copper Rum import organically grown sugar cane from the Caribbean island of Cuba to Switzerland. There, in a gentle process and a total of four distillation processes, the finished product is made from the molasses, which impresses with its distinctive notes of roasted coffee, vanilla pods and caramel.
In Lausanne, not far from the picturesque Lake Geneva, the first Swiss distillate is made from sugar cane in an old distillery port. However, since the latter requires tropical warm temperatures to grow, the raw material for the rum is imported from Cuba. Strict attention is paid to the highest quality. The Banqero Copper Rum is then made from the molasses of the sugar cane in a fourfold distillation process and finally bottled.
When you nosing, you will immediately notice the aromas of plants and wood, and some caramel also resonates. The entire bouquet of this distillate then unfolds on the palate. Now the caramel comes to the fore and is complemented by well-balanced notes of roasted coffee and vanilla. The charismatic aromas make this distillate a real pleasure "on the rock", but the Banqero Copper always cuts a fine figure in more complex cocktails.
It is particularly positive that there is no alcoholic burning sensation. The manufacturers recommend either a Cohiba or a Montechristo as a suitable cigars.
