Aromatic Entlebucher gin made from 27 botanicals

The handcrafted Edelwhite Gin captures the fragrance and aromas of Entlebuch with the help of its 27 botanicals. Among the ingredients is also the eponymous Edelweiss, which is representative of the lifestyle in the Swiss Alps. On the nose, this distillate shows itself mainly with juniper, while citrus notes dominate on the palate.

The highly aromatic Edelwhite Gin contains a total of 27 hand-picked botanicals, which, in their interplay, ensure an incomparable depth of taste. 14 of these botanicals are collected locally in the Entlebuch region on fields, meadows, mountains and in moors and embody the taste essence of the region. The rest of the botanicals are also of the highest quality and regionality. They are obtained from the Entlebucher Herbs Cooperative, an organization that supports local farms. All ingredients are then distilled in a copper kettle over a wood fire and then brought to drinking strength with pure spring water from the Alps. The focus on quality is also immediately evident when tasting the Edelwhite Gin. 

On the nose, the noble distillate is initially presented with delicate juniper, which is followed by fresh citrus notes and floral aromas. The flavors then fully unfold on the palate. First of all, strong, fresh citrus aromas can be heard in combination with floral notes of flowers and peaty pines before the juniper appears. The finish is determined by a sharpness that is reminiscent of freshly ground pepper.
