The tonic with Swiss gentian from the Jura.

Gents Tonic Water consists of the natural aroma of Sicilian lemons and Swiss gentian, which comes from the Jura.

The Zurich startup Gents GmbH designs and sells various Tonic water. With regard to the ingredients, the tonic waters from Gents rely entirely on regionality.

The citrus aroma is produced directly on Lake Zurich using its own recipe. There is also the quinine, which is typical for this drink. The use of the yellow gentian from the canton of Jura is unique. Instead of the cheap corn glucose syrup, local beet sugar is used as a sweetener. The citrus aroma is refreshing and very natural. The quinine provides the typically bitter aroma of Gents Tonic Water. However, the liquorice note is the culmination of taste, which is formed by processing the gentian root. This contrast makes the Gents Tonic Water a comparatively sophisticated soft drink, which can be consumed especially well just as pure.

Due to the beautiful citrus note in combination with the liquorice aroma of the gentian root, this drink from Gents goes perfectly with gins with citrus, herbal and spicy aromas. These are wonderfully supported by the tonic and by no means pushed into the background. A couple of examples are Turicum Dry Gin, of the Deux Frères Gin or the Morris Gin.
