Giffard strawberry syrup, or in French Giffard Fraise, is a sugar syrup that is made from undiluted strawberry juice and therefore delights with an intense berry taste.

The company was founded in 1885 when the then pharmacist Emile Giffard began to experiment with the production of liqueurs and syrups. He quickly made a name for himself as a master distiller and manufacturer of syrups. Today the company is headquartered in Angers, a city in north-west France. The company is still family-owned there. The brand is known for its wide range of high-quality, flavored syrups and tasty liqueurs based on fruit, flowers or herbs.

Natural ingredients from regional cultivation are used in the production of this strawberry syrup. No preservatives are used in the production.
