The Partida-Hermosillo family has been in the distillery business for 3 generations and therefore has a wealth of experience. The flagship in the family distillery's portfolio is Tequila Inicio Reposado, a sophisticated brandy made from 100% blue agave without artificial additives. This agave species thrives in local conditions at an altitude of 2000 meters and at an average temperature of 22 degrees Celsius. The agave hearts weigh up to 50 kilograms and need between 7 and 12 years before they can be harvested by hand. The agave hearts are then cooked in the stone oven for 2 to 3 days, developing the sweetness required for fermentation. No artificial additives are used during the entire manufacturing process. Before the tequila is filled into the distinctive bottle, however, it is allowed to rest in French wine barrels for 9 months. The Inicio Reposado comes into the glass with the full taste of the blue agave, underlaid with fine tones of wine and wood. A great pleasure especially pure "on the rocks".
