Hawaiian Indian Pale Ale with the typical aromas of tropical fruits.
The Kona Hanalei Island IPA comes from Hawaii and is named after the city of the same name, Hanalei. On the one hand, the beer convinces with its aromas of hops, but combines them with typical aromas of tropical fruits and thus represents a bridge between classic beer and an individual interpretation of the drink.
A combination of azacca hops and galaxy hops gives the product on the one hand the typical bitter aromas that the azacca hops bring, but on the other hand also fruity notes of lemon, which are due to the galaxy hops. Furthermore, the complementary fruit aromas of the beer unfold when pouring. These are mainly reminiscent of lemon, passion fruit, orange and guava, i.e. typical tropical fruits that you would not initially associate with a beer.
The fruity notes are rounded off by the bitter notes of the hops. This is only noticed in the background when enjoying it, as the aromas of tropical fruits predominate. The hops only appear afterwards, but their aromas are so distinctive that they have an effect and remain present for longer.
Visually, the Kona Hanalei Island IPA from Hawaii catches the eye with its golden yellow color and is completed by the white head of foam. The combination of bitter and fruity notes offers pleasant refreshment in summer. A drinking temperature of 7 degrees Celsius is ideal for this.
