The longboard warehouse of the Kona brewery in Hawaii is the classic of the now internationally known brewery. The beer is brewed in the traditional lager style. The result is a light beer that is pleasant to drink.

Named after the tradition of longboarding surfing on Waikiki Beach in Hawaii, this lager is the quintessential island with its surfers, mountains, beaches and tropical vegetation and fruits. Among the four hop varieties that flow into the longboard warehouse of the Kona Brewery, hops from the Hallertau are also represented. Nevertheless, the longboard warehouse has its own taste and character. Ripe, tropical fruits play around the nose and palate, while the finish is malt.

This lager tastes best ice-cold. The Kona Brewery recommends it especially with light meals. But it also goes well with grilled chicken or vegetables, pizzas or sandwiches. The alcohol content is 4.6%. For many years, its unique flavor has earned this Hawaiian lager annual awards and accolades in American and international beer competitions.
