The Matte Dry Gin is distilled with local products from the Bern region. This spirit unfolds its juniper note, which is tastefully combined with citrus peel, cinnamon, violet root, liquorice and other spices. It is made exclusively by hand.

The Matte Dry Gin is produced by the Matte distillery in Bern. This Swiss gin prides itself on the fact that it is produced without the use of machines.

Everything in the distillery revolves around the boiler, which has a capacity of 150 liters. In this one not only distills juniper schnapps, but also absinthe. Each of the ingredients, from the grain alcohol from Alcosuisse AG to the eight botanicals, which give Swiss spirits a fruity, spicy taste and a pronounced juniper note, come from the local area. Because of this, the distillery supports agriculture in the region and thus keeps transport routes short.

Not only the classic juniper berries, but also licorice root, orange peel, violet root and cinnamon give the Swiss Matte Dry Gin an unmistakable aroma. After the distillation process, the unusual spirit is filled, corked, sealed and labeled by hand.
