Carrot gin from the canton of Aargau

Sustainable, regional and simply different - that is Maze Gin. Behind the brand is Benjamin Duthaler from Aargau, who visited distilleries all over the world for his own recipe, only to find the solution in his home region of Aargau: the carrot, the most popular vegetable among the Swiss.

The Swiss barkeeper Benjamin Duthaler is behind the Maze Gin brand. During his training in Cape Town he discovered his love for this unique spirit. Back at home, Benjamin set about creating his own recipe: it should be sustainable and have a unique taste. With the “carrot” as a botanical, he succeeded in doing this.

Maze Gin relies on local ingredients and stands for high quality. The carrots give the drink a fresh, new taste and, like most of the juniper berries, come from the harvest of local farms in Aargau.

Production also takes place regionally, in Käser's Castle in Elfingen. The distillery, which is also located in Aargau, is already producing fine spirits for the fifth generation and is therefore the perfect partner.
