Basler Dry Gin made from over 20 different botanicals, including spruce needles, gentian and elderflower
The Modernist Alpine Dry Gin is a grandiose symphony of over 20 different botanicals, which is produced in Basel using a gentle process. The aromatic focus here is clearly on juniper, complemented by fresh notes of spruce needles, elderflower and gentian. This juniper brandy cuts a fine figure in mixed drinks, but can also be enjoyed neat.
The idea for the modernist Alpine Dry Gin was born far away from his present home in Basel. During a vacation together in Burma in Southeast Asia, after a few disappointing mixed drinks, the four friends came up with the idea of creating and making a juniper brandy themselves. The motto here: no frills - the modernist dry gin was born. Today the product is made from over 20 different botanicals, all of which are carefully selected and regularly checked for their high quality. This quality is already noticeable when pouring into the glass, when spicy juniper aromas and fresh herbal notes immediately pour into the nose. This noble distillate also cuts a fine figure when tasted and continues to impress with its strong juniper, underlaid with notes of fresh spruce needles, fruity elderflower and fragrant gentian. The finish lasts for a medium length and ends again with strong juniper. Thanks to the high-quality workmanship, there is no alcoholic burn and the distillate is also ideal for pure enjoyment.
