When Swiss influences and Southeast Asian tastes meet.
The Nakal Gin is an interesting mix of Swiss and Southeast Asian influences and tastes. The gin is produced and bottled in Basel, but relies fully on the Southeast Asian taste. Above all, the three botanicals calamansi, cinnamon cassia and pandan leaves stand out.
The gin has an alcohol content of 46% with a bottle content of 50cl. It comes in a black bottle with an eye-catching label. The special ingredients of the gin are carefully distilled individually.
The Nakal Gin can be enjoyed neat or on ice. It is also ideally suited for mixing drinks and cocktails such as G&T, Martini or Martinez. It impresses with its exotic and spicy aromas, which have a pleasant citrus freshness.
The Nakal Gin is made in Switzerland, but it doesn't look like that. Because both outside and in taste, the manufacturer has fully concentrated on the topics of "exotic" and "Southeast Asia". The main reason for this is the ingredients. The pandan leaves have a vanilla to nutty scent and are preferred in Southeast Asian cuisine. Cassia is used as an aromatic variant of cinnamon. There are also calamondin oranges, also known as calamansi. After the individual distillation, these three ingredients are mixed with some ingredients and herbs that are typical for gins.
The "Nakal Gin" project comes from the sole proprietorship Adrienne Chung. She lives in the canton of Geneva and feels connected to both Europe and Asia. The distillation of the gin, on the other hand, takes place in the Basel Liquid Spirit Distillery, which is also the home of the well-known brand nginious! is.
