Oliver Ullrich and Iris Menne-Ullrich had the goal of creating a new type of gin that clearly differs from other brands. Here they went completely new ways. So they were the first to use old vermouth casks for maturation. Gradually, since 2014, a series of juniper brandies has been created that are unique in terms of taste and bottle design.
For your nginious! The Ullrichs use the "blended" process for Swiss Blended Gin. The herbs are not distilled together, but gently pushed manually and then blended step by step. So they can be better coordinated. In addition, the Ullrichs value a typical Swiss note of nginious! Swiss blended gin. In addition to the typical botanicals, they use characteristic Swiss herbs such as hay flowers, red clover blossoms and golden balm, which enormously enrich the classic herbal mix.
After distillation and blending, the "best gin" rests in the barrel for at least six to eight weeks to round it off. Only then is it bottled.

The juniper schnapps comes in a bottle with a cork stopper, the shape of which was inspired by the "hip flask". The label covers the whole bottle and plays with the details of the Swiss flag - a homage to the origin of the gin. The bottle holds 50 centiliters, the drink has 45 percent alcohol by volume.
