The Humbel quince brandy (43% vol.) Is characterized by a fresh acidity, which is accentuated by smooth honey notes and a touch of sweet rose. The slightly mineral fruit distillate easily manages the demanding balancing act of peppery intensity and flowery flavor. A hint of elegant lemon hides discreetly in the background. The Aargau fruit brandy presents its special taste and finesse as an appetizing aperitif or as the perfect digestif for the finale of an elegant menu. The optimal serving temperature is between 15 ° C and 18 ° C. Then the distillate can seductively woo the nose and palate. If the Humbel quince brandy is served on ice or frozen, the aromas of the sun-ripened quinces do not unfold as well.
The aromatic, hand-picked quinces come from the family's own organic orchard. Around 1,900 hours of sunshine per year inspire the fruit's ripening process. The high season for quinces begins in September and does not end until late autumn. You can recognize ripe fruits by their rich yellow tone.
