Nunci Blanc Barrica, Priorat DOQ - 75cl
The Nunci Blanc is a Spanish white wine with powerful but unobtrusive aromas of fruits, flowers and roasted spices.
The grape varieties Maccabeo, Grenache blanc, Viognier and Pedro Ximénez are used to produce the Nunci Blanc. This diverse mix of grape varieties results in a strong honey-yellow color. The bouquet announces itself with intense exotic fruit notes, followed by fine floral notes, a subtle yeast note and fine roasted and vanilla aromas. The taste on the palate is juicy with deliberate, finely integrated acidity. The finish is powerful and long.
This wine goes particularly well with Spanish tapas, fish, seafood, paella, white meat and cheese.
The Nunci Celler Mas de les Pereres winery is centrally located in the Priorat region, which is known for its slate soil and its microclimate and the excellent wines it produces. The owner of the Nunci Celler Mas de les Pereres is a Belgian who produces red and white wine from vines that are over 80 years old. This results in only low yields. The winemaker refines his wine by fermenting the Nunci Blanc at a low temperature (approx. 16 ° C) for 6 months with the mash in new French barrique barrels and leaving it on the lees, which gives this wine its powerful taste.
