The fruity Sloe Gin from Distillery Studer

After the Swiss Highland Dry Gin from the Studer distillery was a complete success, there is now the fruity counterpart, the Studer’s Swiss Highland Sloe Gin. The sloe liqueur convinces with strong fruit notes, a pleasant spice and the familiar aromas of juniper, coriander and citrus. With an alcohol content of 26%, this product is suitable both for pure enjoyment and for use in a fruity gin and tonic.

The Studer family from Escholzmatt in Lucerne has already made a name for itself in the world of spirits. Their Swiss Highland Dry Gin has already convinced many connoisseurs, connoisseurs and occasional drinkers and now with this Sloe Gin a new exciting product from Studer has been presented. Initially, the classic botanicals such as juniper, lemongrass, lavender, coriander and pepper will continue to be used. In addition, sloe berries are added to the mash for the Sloe Gin, which give the gin its typical fruity-spicy character. The sloe berries already play the leading role in the nose, followed by spicy juniper aromas and hot, fresh lemongrass. This picture continues on the palate, but the sloe berries now present themselves more from a spicy-sweet side and thus give the drink a surprising twist. The aromas of juniper, coriander and lemongrass are not neglected either. The finish of the liqueur is still pleasantly fruity and ends with a peppery sharpness.
