Spicy and fruity premium gin from Basel-Land with notes of ginger and rosemary.
The Swiss barkeeper Michael Schneider has always been enthusiastic about inventing new cocktails and refining the well-known classics of the genre and interpreting them differently. His guests appreciated his works and the idea was born to experiment with homemade ingredients. This is how Schneider's first creation, a coffee liqueur, came about. He used it to mix the long-running bar "White Russian", which became really unique thanks to the homemade liqueur. The resourceful bartender soon expanded his range of homemade ingredients, and at some point he realized that he wanted to expand production and have his own brand. In 2014 he founded his small company "The Seventh Sense" in Ettingen, Switzerland. With this name Schneider wants to emphasize the importance of the human senses - and especially the sense of taste. In addition to the aforementioned coffee liqueur and gin, Schneider also produces a rum liqueur and various bitters.
The "The Seventh Sense" gin is composed of the eight botanicals juniper, allspice, cardamom, ginger, rosemary, tonka beans, lemongrass and limes, which give it its special aroma. "The Seventh Sense" is ideal for mixing cocktails and long drinks such as the classic gin and tonic. Because it contains only 39 percent alcohol - which is unusual for gin - it is quite light and can also be enjoyed neat or on ice.
"The Seventh Sense" gin is delivered in a black, square bottle with a white print and a content of 50cl.
