The Wild Alps Morris London Dry Gin - 75cl
A strong personality from the St. Gallen Rhine Valley.
The Morris Gin is a London Dry Gin with a strong personality. It comes from "The Wild Alps" and is exclusively distilled in small batches. Notes of juniper, citrus and herbs predominate.
The namesake for this juniper brandy is the architect and designer William Morris, who made the plans for three dreamy villas in Schoppernau in Vorarlberg and in Weggis on Lake Lucerne. His plans were then implemented by the builder John Oakley Maund.
These English cottage style buildings still stand today. One of the buildings in particular, the Villa Maud, became extremely well known. For a long time, the house was used by the German Crown Prince Wilhelm as a hunting lodge and accordingly many high-ranking personalities came and went.
The villa has now also inspired the inventors of the “The Wild Alps” brand to create their Morris Dry Gin. This is a very unique version of a classic London Dry Gin, in which juniper, citrus fruits and alpine herbs are in the foreground.
The Morris Gin is distilled in small batches in the copper still and then bottled. The distillers set the highest standards in order to be able to guarantee such a high-class product at all times.
